What Energy Plan Am I On?
The easiest method is to sign into your service provider's internet portal. It will also include details of alternative fuel packages that are appropriate for your consumption (although it might be best to compare energy deals from providers in the broader market), and also reports of your existing energy contract and when it expires.
If you don't already have an account online with your energy supplier, it's simple – and free – to create one through its website. Optionally, past expenses or communications from your energy provider – or a help desk agent – will inform you what service package you are on.
Should I Switch My Gas And Electric To The Same Supplier?
Switching them over to the same provider – regarded as a dual-fuel tariff – would almost certainly be helpful. Not only would this mean you'll only have to contend with one energy provider, but when you purchase both fuels at the same time, you'll typically get a 10% yearly rebate.
